Notes
One of the most prestigious Dinky models you can own; this is the sought-after ‘Lyons Swiss Rolls’ Dinky Guy Van model issued during 1952 only. Notoriously difficult in any condition. Distinctive transfers are virtually complete-complete on both sides.
Under strong light and magnification, a subtle little retouch may be seen on the roof of the box van and a few dot retouches besides. Small area of paint on one side is a little ‘blistered’. The base has a tarnished area.
The box is complete and bright, with no splits, tears or repairs. Some age grubbiness and rusty staples now. Period pencilled price at a short lid end.
