Notes
A pleasing example of this popular Corgi model issued between 1964-69. The Austin Police Mini Van has a very deep blue-black finish with a red detailed interior and unmarked ‘POLICE’ lettering on both sides.
Suspension on shaped spun wheels, intact aerial, jewelled headlights.
A few tiny marks/dots to the paint finish – visible after close scrutiny. Number-plates front and rear. Corgi period accessory tax disc has been added.
Also included are the original figures of the police dog handler and tracker dog complete with his lead (often missing!). All safely slotted in to the tear-free, very close to perfect inner plinth (correct with no pictorial backdrop scene).
The outer box is complete, bright and intact. Crisp. Light wear only.
A fine all-original example of this scarce issue.
