Notes
This model is an exceptional display piece with a vivid red paint finish throughout and diecast hubs (later issues had plastic hubs). Tinplate tank has eye-catching transfers (notably virtually mint) on both sides and at rear. The rear transfer in particular is hard to find this good.
None of the usual ‘rib’ rubs to the white background of the side transfers either.
Very fine indeed with day-one vibrant colours.
Shiny baseplate and metal parts generally, save for a little minor tarnishing to the axle ends. Original black radial tyres are well-shaped.
Occasional minor mark only.
A refreshing example with none of the touch-ins so prevalent with high value Dinky commercials nowadays.
The striped pictorial box is a fitting partner with vibrant colours on clean, day-one fresh undamaged card. Very minor wear only. An impressive example.
