D753
Dinky 753 Police Controlled Crossing. Very near mint/boxed. From The BST Collection. From The BST Collection.
Notes
An interesting accessory item from Dinky made between 1962-67. It consists of a black and white striped box in the centre of a traffic island with a policeman directing the traffic. All complete with the removable lamp standard, and traffic bollards with paper labels in place. The policeman can be moved around on his base to control the traffic from different directions (operated by means of a wheel at the side of the police box).
In unused condition with just the tiniest age grubbiness to the complete paper label and a light crease.
The long, slim red and yellow card box is bright and complete, with a crisp feel. Plenty of end flap spring. Very minor wear only. Operating and assembly instructions printed on the reverse of the box.
