D162
Dinky 162 Ford Zephyr Saloon. Very near mint/boxed. Deep green & cream issue. Lovely box! From The Eric Slager Collection.
Notes
With an all original paint finish in deep green and cream, and fawn hubs, this is a fine Dinky car made between 1956-60.
Baseplate has large lettering and ‘162’ stamped. Well-shaped, smooth original tyres.
Only a tiny amount of the usual rubbing at raised body lines. Mark (probably factory) at a window ledge. No rubbing to the roof – this model displays well.
The box is really bright and crisp with the correct colour code at the end flaps, since this model was also available in two-tone blue. Gives the impression of unsold, old shop stock. No tears or graffiti.Very nice!
