Notes
This collector wanted only the best examples in his collection – always a discerning buyer of the finest examples he could find. After over 25 years, he has now decided to part with items from his own extensive collection.
This is one of them.
Issued made between 1952-54 only, before it was re-numbered. This eye-catching commercial truck has a bright red and yellow finish. Not an easy find in this condition with complete “SHELL CHEMICALS LIMITED” lettering on both sides.
Presents nicely with a perfect “SHELL” label at the rear as well as the 20mph sticker:
Carefully handled and stored, retaining a pleasing original lustre.
Bright baseplate (minor spidering). Original grey tyres are well-shaped. Occasional little mark to the paint finish.
