C448
Corgi 448 B.M.C. Mini Police Van with Tracker Dog. SPUN WHEELS issue. Very near mint/boxed.
Notes
A superb example of this popular Corgi model made between 1964-69. In very close to pristine condition, this model has been looked after most carefully. It contains an Austin Police Mini Van in deep blue finish with a red detailed interior, shining shaped spun wheels with suspension, aerial, jewelled headlights and complete ‘POLICE’ on both sides. Fine original tyres (one has a faint flat spot).
The keenest eyes will eventually find the occasional tiny mark to the paint finish.
Also included are the original figures of the police dog handler and tracker dog complete with his lead (often missing!). All safely slotted in to the crisp and bright inner plinth with a colourful backdrop. Very small tear to one of the wheel slots (which have their push-out pieces still in situ).
The outer box is very crisp, fresh and brightly-coloured with a pleasing silky feel to the card. Gives the impression of unsold old shop stock. Very minor wear only.
