D234
Dinky 234 Ferrari Racing Car. Very, very near mint/boxed. Scarce 'SHARK NOSE' version with YELLOW RIDGED METAL wheels. Transition issue from The BST Collection.
Notes
This is the later “shark nose” version (yellow triangle at the front) – a difficult version to find with the yellow metal wheels . A transition issue since this later shark nose version is more usually found with plastic wheels.
Lovely glossy finish.
Bright baseplate with 234 stamped:
Fine sheen throughout and the racing driver is especially well covered in glossy original paint (so often found chipped!).
If one is looking to fault it, one could say that one of the racing numbers has a couple of tiny dots and there are a couple of tiny marks besides.
Still an impressive display piece!
The crisp, bright and box is complete. Little storage ‘bruise’ and tiny wear including a little ruffling to an end flap edge.
Period penned price at an end flap.
A difficult Ferrari model to find.
