Dinky 290 Double Deck Bus 'DUNLOP'. Near mint/boxed. Green & cream type 3 issue. From The 25 Year Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1959-61 with a type 3 Leyland grille, this classic Dinky bus presents well with a lustrous original deep green and cream paint finish, lighter green wheels and well-shaped, knobbly tyres. Complete lettering on both sides.
Several marks to the paint finish. Factory retouch at a front wheel arch. Casting at one front wheel arch front edge is depressed.
The attractive pictorial box is crisp, clean and brightly-coloured, and all end flaps complete. Little edge tear and light creasing.
Correct colour spot at the end flaps. Penned ‘50’ at an end flap.
