Issued between 1968-74, this particular example was issued toward the latter end of this period.
It contains a ‘Zebra-striped’ Land-Rover with a perfect circular ‘LIONS OF LONGLEAT’ label on the bonnet. Opened hatch on the cab roof shows the keeper complete with the (usually missing!) rifle stowed in the back. One small chip away from mint.
Also included is the plastic lion’s den which is complete with two male lions, one female, three portions of meat still sellotaped together, and a red barrel.
The box is bright and fresh with smooth original cellophane and the yellow card packing piece.
An attractive Gift Set, especially nice to see this one complete!
