This model came from a small cache of old shop stock models recently purchased by a long-standing collector in the U.K.
First issue of this delightful Bedford van in metallic mid-cerise finish (various shades exist), divided windscreen and flat spun hubs.
This model has certainly spent most of its life in the box! Shiny baseplate and wheels like new.
So tempted to call this model mint – minute scrutiny reveals one tiny mark.
The early powder-blue picture box is complete, crisp and vividly-coloured. No tears or graffiti. Feels rarely handled. Plenty of end flap spring. Very nice! With Corgi promotional booklet.
Not an easy model to find these days.
