C447
Corgi 447 Wall's Ice Cream Van. Near mint plus/boxed, with both figures. Very nice box! From The Monty Calme Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1965-67, this sought-after Corgi Ford Thames Ice Cream Van has a shining, original blue and cream finish with complete detailed labels. Suspension on shaped spun wheels. Fine original tyres. Grey base.
The windows are virtually mist-free (often found with heavily ‘misted’ windows).
Few little marks at bumpers. Corgi period tax disc label has been applied. No additional labels with this example.
Included is the pictorial card plinth which is clean and strongly-coloured, with both figures of the ice cream seller and boy present. No tears or wear.
Pencilled ‘447’ and price of 6/11 at one side.
The pictorial card box presents very well – colourful, clean and fresh-looking with all end flaps intact. Lovely, barely handled, silky feel to the card. Minor handling/age wear, including a faint storage corner crumple.
