Notes
He has been collecting as long as he can remember and whenever he feels like thinning out his collection, we are treated to some wonderful items for the website!
A rare find, this is the first we have ever offered for sale. Rich-mid-green finish on this Single Deck Bus with off-white band and complete ‘LODON TRANSPORT’ lettering in gold at the sides. Shining chrome Leyland radiator grille and lights. Grey wheels and fine original tyres. Intact ‘DORKING’ destination board and lovely vivid ‘Tri-ang Toys’ promotional transfer at the rear. Interior has green wooden seats. Metal steering wheel. Fine original treaded tyres. ‘Push and Go’ friction drive mechanism works well.
The most uncharitable eye will find the occasional tiny mark.
Colourful card box is complete with all end flaps, although there are a couple of tears and one end has been taped shut. Light grubbiness and age wear besides.
A rare find.
