Corgi 315 Simca 1000 Competition Model. Rare issue in deep metallic blue. Near mint plus/boxed. Another rare find from a dedicated Corgi collector in The Home Counties.
Notes
Issued during 1964-66, this Simca model is a rare find (more usually found with a chrome finish). Attractive deep metallic blue finish with racing stripe and number (nick to the bonnet transfer and a few tiny edge nibbles to the other transfers). Vivid red detailed interior. Suspension on bright shaped spun wheels. Fine original treaded tyres.
Few little bumper marks. Barely a mark to the vivid blue paint finish. Stray dab of factory silver at a wheel arch.
The box is clean, crisp and bright, with plenty of end flap spring.Light crease and a very small scuff at an end flap edge.
