Lot number 722 at Bonhams Auction House in December 2003, this colour trial for the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray in vivid metallic purple and black never went into production.

Note that this colour trial piece has crossed flags decals at bonnet and boot. Production version in either deep blue and black, or deep pink and black has a decal at the rear only.
