Notes
Making a wonderful display piece, this shopkeeper’s Dinky Trade Box contains all 6 Police Patrol Motorcycles, 1946-49 issue. Each is finished in deep green, navy blue and black, save for one which has a brighter mid-green hue. Smooth black rubber wheels. Silver detail at handle bars and lights.
Condition range excellent plus-near mint-near mint plus.
Buff Trade Box has a bright and complete Dinky label at one short lid end. Traces of the original sellotape which kept the lid closed. Little area of surface loss on box base underside. No splits or repairs. Dividers are present but are probably later replacements. The box is clean and without graffiti, unless you include the shopkeeper’s period price of 1/6 each!
