Notes
This collector wanted only the best examples ? always a discerning buyer of the finest models he could find. After over 25 years, he has now decided to part with items from his own extensive collection. For more information on this collection, please see our Blog Article under the heading ‘California Dreamin’.
The first we have handled in a long time, this is an extremely fine-looking classic Dinky commercial – same casting as the English version under the 962 numbering – although this French version has a distinctly different yellow-cream finish.
Deep red metal wheels. Fine original tyres.
Comes complete with the familiar driver in his pale brown workman’s garb.
Few little contact marks where the dumper rests on the body of the vehicle and a couple of very small marks besides. Few little touch-ins at one front edge (subtly done). Still presents well! A nicely-constructed toy; the driver can be made to swivel with his seat, and the dumper tips. Tow hook. Bright baseplate. These dumper trucks are so often found with many chips!
The striped Supertoys box is very clean, fresh and brightly -coloured. Minor wear only.
