C317
Corgi 317 Mini Cooper 'S' Monte Carlo '64. Very near mint/boxed, with leaflet. From The Monty Calme Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1964-65, this is one of the range of exciting racing Minis produced by Corgi during this period. Extremely popular at the time, they are sought-after by collectors these days!
This ‘spotlight’ Mini is in very close to mint condition. A fresh and crisp red and white finish on this racing model with a bright silver spotlight on the roof (which swivels). Bold print racing number ‘37’ on both doors (complete transfers). ‘Monte Carlo’ bonnet transfer and rear transfer are notably complete, too. Bright jewelled headlights and an attractive original finish on the silver radiator and bumper. Chip to the base. Bright white roof has none of the usual edge nicks that can spoil the appearance of this great little iconic car!
Few tiny marks may be seen if peered at minutely.
The complete, clean and bright box is crisp and very fresh-looking. Plenty of end flap spring. Model specific Leaflet_Corgi Club Membership Form is included:
A very fine example – both model and box!
