Notes
This group comprises:
1) Corgi 312 Marcos Mantis. In gleaming, deep metallic red finish. Issued between 1971-74. Opening doors reveal a detailed cream interior with tip-up seats and a gold steering wheel. Metallic silver-grey bumpers and baseplate. Detailed spoked Whizzwheels. Faintest of roof rubs and the occasional negligible dot to the paint finish.
This fine model is presented in a very vivid and clean red and yellow early window box with unpunctured original cellophane. Resistant end flaps and very crisp card. Remains of an old shop label.
2) Corgi 377 Marcos 3 Litre. Issued between 1970-72, this Marcos has a deep yellow body, and a matte black bonnet with a perfect label. Whizzwheels.
Couple of little chips at a front wing and another at a rear light. Note the dab of paint at front bumper edge in a slightly different shade.
The box is in beautiful crisp, bright condition with intact smooth original cellophane. Outstanding deep vivid colours and resistant end flaps.
3) Corgi 382 Porsche Targa 911S. Metallic green finish, jewelled headlights and fluorescent deep orange indicators. Suspension on Whizzwheels. Opening doors reveal a detailed orange interior with tip-up seats and gold steering wheel. Surface smudges on the windows. Minor mark at a rear wing. Another super-crisp box with intact cellophane.
