Notes

A most desirable Corgi set – and so difficult to find in this condition! Carefully handled and stored and looking as if the contents have rarely been taken out of the crisp, fresh-looking bright box!

The set comprises:

1) Batmobile in gleaming gloss black finish with both original figures of Batman and Robin. Tow hook version. A particularly difficult find with authentic bright red tyres, silver wheel detail. Gleaming chrome, bright gold parts. Correct that this version has less pointed rear fins and very bright gold parts. Suspension is fine on all four well-shaped original red tyres.
Stray light flick of factory silver on a front wing and a couple of minor marks to the paint finish (one at a rear edge and another low down head-on).
Very near mint.
2) Batboat sits atop the gold trailer with cast wheels. Complete with both seated figures of Batman and Robin. More desirable ‘tin fin’ version (later issues were plastic). Bright and clean, complete paper labels on both side.s Light (as applied) crease to one.

Complete with a bright carefully opened Secret Instruction Packet which contains missiles, badge and Instructions.

Both items sit in a very clean and fresh polystyrene inner. Very nice!

The colourful outer box is in fresh and bright condition with smooth, original unpunctured cellophane. Minor tear emanating from both large end flaps.

Day-one vivid colours (particularly attractive graphics on box reverse when the colours are this vibrant).
Very minor age grubbiness.
Another exceptional item from this collector.
