This model came from a small cache of old shop stock models recently purchased by a long-standing collector in the U.K.

First issue of this delightful Bedford van in metallic mid-cerise finish (various shades exist), divided windscreen and flat spun hubs. Old shop stock piece but note the factory assembly flaw to the window glazing on one side and to a lesser extent on one side of the front windscreen.

This model has certainly spent most of its life in the box! Shiny baseplate and wheels like new.

The early powder-blue picture box is complete, crisp and vividly-coloured. No tears or graffiti. Feels rarely handled. Plenty of end flap spring. Very nice! With Corgi promotional booklet.
Not an easy model to find these days.
