Notes

This version has a tan cab, notably light green back too, red hubs, black lettering, smooth black tyres. An unplayed with example in very close to mint condition, complete with a working tow hook. Perfect ‘DINKY SERVICE’ lettering in black on both sides, bright winding handle and baseplate (couple of scuffs).

None of the usual marks at exposed edges, and only a couple of light surface marks on the tinplate jib.
This scarce example has a most attractive yellow and blue picture box – fresh, clean and bright with the correct colour spot and ‘LF’ label at a lid end. Faintly penned period price. Complete ‘Hudson Dobson’ export label. Shiny staples.Some shelf rubbing on box underside. Tiny wear besides.
