Corgi Gift Set 41 Scammell Car Transporter with 6 Cars. Excellent plus-near mint plus/boxed with wear but complete. *Extremely scarce mail order, 2nd issue version made during 1969 only*. With Mail Order Sleeve. From The Corbridge Collection.

An extremely scarce Gift Set! This particular version was only available by mail order and is the second issue made during 1969 only.
It comprises:
1) Scammell Carrimore Mark IV Transporter, in red and white. Intact and all original with a few little chips. Jewelled headlights. Near mint plus condition.
2) Morris Mini Minor * in metallic maroon, yellow interior. Cast wheels with suspension. Near mint plus condition.
3) *Morris Mini Cooper in black with a red roof and yellow ‘wickerwork’ side panels. Jewelled lights. Spun wheels with suspension. Excellent plus condition with a few chips on one side and light wear to the side panels.
4) Saint’s Volvo in white. Correct version with the later orange bonnet label. This example is in excellent plus condition with a few small marks mostly on one side. Bonnet transfer is complete (light corner crease). Suspension on cast wheels. Jewelled lights.
5) Sunbeam Imp in metallic blue. 1967 Monte Carlo Rally with racing number ‘77’. In excellent plus condition (although no rear suspension now). Few little chips and occasional little transfer nick. Jewelled lights.
6) MGC GT in yellow and black. Excellent plus condition. Few little chips. Jewelled headlights. Suspension on spoked wheels. Correct opening black suitcase stowed.
7) BMC Mini Cooper ‘S’ in red with chrome roof rack. Excellent plus condition. Complete racing number ‘177’. Chrome roof rack. Jewelled lights. Few little marks. Nick to the front and rear number plates. Very minor wear to the Monte Carlo transfers.
Colourful lift-off lid box is complete and brightly-coloured although showing a little wear now, mostly at the short lid ends (tape). Minor scribble at a short lid end (over the Corgi Dog logo).
Polystyrene base has light grubbiness and wear.
The Mail Order Sleeve has a partial thickness puncture and a couple of smudges of greenish-blue paint. Scribble/writing on one side and some light pencilled marking besides.
A very difficult set to find in any condition and is usually missing from even the largest Corgi collections!
