C150
Corgi (150) Trophy Vanwall Racing Car. Very scarce. Near mint/unboxed. From The Corbridge Collection.
Notes
A small range of Corgi models (5 in total) were gold plated in 1961 and were sold by Marks & Spencer. Few are available and are sought-after nowadays, even if they did not sell particularly well at the time.
This Vanwall model is in all original condition with the distinctive mirror plated finish, red seat, steering wheel and intact windscreen (often missing!). A few little marks in the usual places (front and rear points) and a few small light marks on the bonnet. Rub mark to a high point toward the rear. Dulling to the detailed cast wheels.
