Corgi 1106 Mack Container Truck & Trailer. Very, very near mint/boxed. Rare promotional issue/CONTROLTAC 3M' in special box with promotional sign, printed card details & key ring. From The New European Collection.

A first for QDT. An exceptionally difficult find, this is a period promotional item commissioned by 3M to promote CONTROLTAC, made in limited numbers and sent out to chosen prospective customers.
Note that this promotional version has a silver chassis and bumper (standard version issued (1972-77) has a red chassis and bumper).
Finished in vibrant yellow and white with a red interior, intact delicate black plastic parts. Complete ‘CONTROLTAC 3M labels on both sides of the plastic containers. Complete ’3M’ logo on the bonnet. ‘Long vehicle’ label at the rear.
In unused, virtually mint condition.
Supplied in a special polystyrene case (minor grubbiness) with the lift off lid bearing the logo in blue :

This promotional issue comes with colourful *promotional labels *(6)
as well* printed details on a deep yellow card with mid-way serration*. The theme continues with a d*eep yellow key ring with printed promotional information on both sides*.
All contained within the original plain white card box. Minor wear and grubbiness and a penned ‘K95’ in small letters.
