C801
Corgi 801 Noddy's Car with Noddy, Big Ears & Mr. Tubby. Light tan Tubby issue, Scarce item from The New European Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1969-73, this is a delightful novelty item – and it is presented in the more desirable (and more eye-catching) early issue blue and yellow window box.
A most attractive item, with all three figures of Noddy, Big Ears and Golly crammed into a bright red and yellow ?cartoon? car with balloon tyres! Detailed cast wheels.
Paintwork is vivid and in very close to perfect condition (two little exposed edge marks). A few little dots on the chrome.
Window box is dated 1969 on the reverse. The bright, crisp, pictorial inner has a little tear along one of the serrated sections. Often the card gets damaged by Noddy?s bobble hat ? happy to say that it is not the case here!
The colourfully-illustrated outer box is bright and clean, although the original cellophane has been carefully replaced at some time. Little glue repair and minor handling wear besides.
