C811
Corgi 811 James Bond Moon Buggy. Near mint plus/boxed. From 'The New European' Collection.
Notes
This James Bond Moon Buggy inspired by the film ‘Diamonds Are Forever’ is in unused condition with a complete paper label at the front of the model. The ‘arms’ are bright and untarnished and one in particular keeps its position well (the other is a touch ‘floppier’). The red scanner revolves as the Buggy moves along. Most notably, the roof opening mechanism which causes the figure of James Bond to pop up when the hatch flips open works well too!
Occasional little mark to the paint finish.
The card and cellophane box looks crisp, clean and bright. Little puncture to the original cellophane ( this large expanse of cellophane is nearly always a problem area). Card has very minor handling wear only. No graffiti or tears. Attractive inner backdrop (moon scene) too.
A fine and desirable James Bond item made between 1972-74.
