C1127
Corgi 1127 Simon Snorkel Fire Engine. Near mint plus/boxed. Early issue in card box with GOLD BOOMS. With leaflet. From a most knowledgeable and enthusiastic collector in South London.
Notes
A popular Corgi model from the Major Packs Emergency Vehicle range of toys.
The Simon Snorkel fire engine was made between 1964-74. This example has a Bedford cab, spun wheels, 6 firemen, water cannon, extending and rotating boom (harder to find in this gold finish). Original fine tread tyres run well.
Closest inspection reveals a few very small touch-ins. Little mark on the roof.
The lift-off lid card box is an early issue with lots of bright atmospheric artwork on the lid.
Minor age wear/grubbiness.
Original leaflet is included.
