Notes
A very difficult to find and sought-after ‘Tommy Spot’m Gift Set.
The set comprises:
Spot -On 260 Rolls Royce Phantom V in rich, deep maroon. Very close to mint condition (looking as if it has never been removed from the card plinth to which it is securely fastened), notably complete with the bonnet emblem, roof emblem and flag, transfers on the front doors and above boot catch. Bright chrome. Intact and bright door handles.With all delicate parts complete and intact. Shaped spun wheels.
Seated royal passengers, chauffeur and official.
Battery lighting fitment to illuminate the headlights (untested). Minor rubbing at chrome headlight surround.
Affixed to the card plinth are the 6 guardsmen and the Tommy Spot figure.
The card plinth with its attractive card backdrop has some wear (as is so often the case). Note that 3 of the guardsmen have been glued into place now.
The large outer box with cellophane window (replaced) has some age/handling wear and two small tape repairs (end flaps). Wear and tear besides. Vivid colours, and still presents quite well.
