The Monty Calme landmark Corgi Collection, covering the width and breadth of Corgi models amassed over decades by an exuberant collector. The Monty Calme collection is a truly astonishing gathering of the best of Corgi models and ephemera, including rare and unique pieces and point of sale items. The largest collection we have ever seen.

An exceptionally scarce, late variation (probably export), this Commer Pick-Up is finished in deep orange-yellow with textured olive-green canopy (unique to this model – and could not have been swapped from another Corgi item. Longer than the canopy on the Corgi Land Rover, for example). Silver trim and shaped spun wheels.

In very close to mint condition with a few stray factory dots of silver on one side and the occasional tiny mark to the paint finish.
An exciting find.

Note the Corgi Club Membership Form still furled in the back of the Pick-Up. We have not removed the canopy, since this action can cause marking to the paint finish.

A completely unused example that has simply remained tucked away in its box for the past 50 years or so.
The colourful, crisp and clean box (with this variation pictured on both sides) has a minor start of a tear at a small end flap hinge. Minor wear only. No graffiti.
