A landmark Corgi Collection covering the width and breadth of Corgi models amassed over decades by an exuberant collector. The Monty Calme collection is a truly astonishing gathering of the best of Corgi models and ephemera, including rare and unique pieces and point of sale items. The largest collection we have ever seen.
First issue from 1965, this Ford Mustang model has a close to perfect silver finish, with a vivid red detailed interior, and a Corgi dog reclining at the back. Opening doors and tilting seats. Jewelled headlights and a complete Mustang detailed radiator.
Suspension is fine on spun hubs.
Couple of front bumper marks. Occasional tiny mark besides.
Box is very bright, fresh and crisp with no tears or repairs. Neatly pencilled period price at an end flap.
