C1003
Original Prototype of Corgi Ford Road Hog (based on the Starsky & Hutch Ford Torino) Pictured on page 418 of 'The Great Book of Corgi'. From 'The New European' Collection.
Notes
An exceptional collection of prototypes were purchased by ?The New European? Collector, largely originating from two well-documented sources i.e. the auction of the property of Marcel Van Cleemput at Sotheby?s Auction House in 1999 and the Losch Auction House in Germany during 2000.
Never produced in this vibrant metallic sunset yellow colour, the Corgi 1003 Ford Road Hog (based on The Starsky & Hutch Ford Torino model) was issued in black.
An unique item therefore, pictured on page 418 of ‘The Great Book of Corgi’ (although note that it has now lost its aerial).
Both wing mirrors are intact. Green windows. Shiny chrome trim.
One of a kind – this is another exceptional item from this collector.
