This scarce original Gift Set comprises:
A black and white Renault in close to mint, unused condition with complete detailed transfers and ‘Paramount’ roof sign labels (save for a few tiny nicks to the bonnet transfer). Car still partially fixed to the inner. Complete with spare wheel in the bonnet, driver, camera man and camera.
Bright silver base and as-new original tyres with "Corgi Toys’ embossed.
Slightly later version with a plain orange card backdrop inside the box. Complete, fresh and bright. This set includes the race leader on his bicycle in his yellow jersey.
Polystyrene plinth is complete and looking clean and fresh. Original sticky pad positioned to hold the cyclist in place.
The header card window box is colourful and complete with original cellophane (couple of small splits). A little age/handling wear. Usual crease at header card reverse where it joins the main body of the box. Small price label on the underside of the box.
Nice to see that this example comes complete with the multi-lingual Informative Leaflet /Corgi Club Membership Form as well as the original Retailer Card.
