Notes

__An exceptional collection of prototypes were purchased by ‘The New European’ Collector, largely originating from two well-documented sources i.e. the auction of the property of Marcel Van Cleemput at Sotheby’s Auction House in 1999 and the Losch Auction House in Germany during 2000_.

Pictured in The Great Book of Corgi, this is is a charming prototype featuring both comical cartoon characters Tom and Jerry!

Based on the Corgi 859 Magic Roundabout model Mr. McHenry’s Trike, this model is finished in bright turquoise and yellow, with Tom steering the trike. Wind the handle at the rear, and clever, opportunistic Jerry pops up, complete with his filched ice cream!

Prototype measures approx. 12 cms in length. Intact delicate ’Tom’s Ices’ label. Tom has lost most of one of his ears, unfortunately and has a repair.
This item never went into production.
