Issued between 1961-62, this early version has a bright mid red and black finish, yellow interior, ‘Birmingham – London Motorway Express’ paper labels and shining flat spun wheels.
With just a couple of negligible rubs on the door handles and a flick of (factory) black paint on one side. Complete ‘Midland Red’ labels on both sides (minor wear). No destination board label above the cab. Complete ‘Midland Red’ logos on both sides. Few tiny marks to the paint finish.
The early lift-off lid box is complete and vividly-coloured,. No graffiti. Subtle seam repair.
