Notes

This is the first issue from 1961 in deep metallic blue finish with raised lemon “ECURIE ECOSSE” lettering on both sides. Shaped spun wheels. Yellow interior. Grey base. A great item to display especially with a selection of Corgi racing cars from the same era – this transporter would hold three.
A thin light scratch on one side ( possibly caused during factory assembly) and a few mark mostly on the top surface. Little rub at the sliding door (as is so often the case). Presents well with such a fine lustre. This transporter has remained tucked away in its box for the past 50+ years!

Difficult to find mint, since they were popular at the time – a firm favourite for ‘transporting’ Corgi cars around.

The colourfully illustrated pictorial box is bright and complete, with the original card packing. Minor rubbing at edges with the occasional little scuff, but no tears or graffiti.
