C267
Corgi 267 Batmobile. Scarce 2nd issue with BARE METAL FIXED TOW HOOK. Very near mint/in pictorial card box. Version with bright red colours on the card plinth. With Instruction Envelope. From 'The Monty Calme' Corgi Collection.
Notes
A sought-after, 2nd issue with fitted, integral bare metal tow hook (and bare metal parts). Batmobile is in very close to mint condition with a lustrous original gloss black finish, straight aerial, intact blue screens, both seated figures of Batman and Robin. Bright chrome at cockpit and launch tubes. All gadgets function. Bright bat hubs with suspension on all four wheels. In very close to mint condition. Looks stunning!
A few minor marks only and a small, stray (probably factory dab) of gold paint at a rear wing tip.
The pictorial card inner display stand with lots of atmospheric graphics has day-one vivid colours. Version with bright red (not orange) plinth. Just one little tear at a wheel slot. Card support piece inside the plinth base.
Complete with the still-sealed Secret Instruction Packet and so inside will be the Instructions, sprue of 12 missiles, and badge.
The outer box looks very fresh and bright with crisp card. Strong vivid colours on unrubbed card. Hard to find this good. Light crease on one non-picture side. Minor storage crumple.
An iconic Corgi toy!
