C267
Corgi 267 Batmobile. Scarce 2nd issue with GOLD FIXED TOW HOOK. Very near mint/in pictorial card box. With all card packing and Instruction Envelope. All original with Extra Features Leaflet too! From 'The Monty Calme' Corgi Collection.
Notes
A sought-after, 2nd issue with fitted, integral gold tow hook (and gold metal parts). Batmobile is in very close to mint condition with a lustrous original gloss black finish, straight aerial, intact blue screens, both seated figures of Batman and Robin. Bright chrome at cockpit and launch tubes. All gadgets function. Bright bat hubs. In close to mint condition. Looks stunning!
A few minor marks only. Note that the rear wheels lack suspension now. However, the model sits well with no sag and it is only apparent upon testing the wheels.
The pictorial card inner display stand with lots of atmospheric graphics has day-one vivid colours, and the card is crisp and uncrumpled. None of the usual wear and tear at the wheel slots. Card support piece inside the plinth base.
Complete with the still-sealed Secret Instruction Packet and so inside will be the Instructions, sprue of 12 missiles, badge. Included with this example, is the additional Features leaflet .
The model comes with the circular card packing piece which protects the screen and aerial as well as the large protective card piece too.
The outer box looks very fresh and bright with crisp card. Strong vivid colours on unrubbed card. Hard to find this good.
An iconic Corgi toy!
