C1140
Corgi 1140 Bedford TK 'Mobilgas' Petrol Tanker. Near mint plus/boxed. With packing piece. Sought-after model from 'The New European' Collection.
Notes
With a Corgi collection richly evoking the period between the late 1950?s through to the mid 1970?s, this large European Collection has been lovingly compiled by an enthusiast with particular emphasis on point of sale, including original cabinets and literature, prototypes, promotional items, alongside a high quality collection of individual models and Gift Sets.
This is the Bedford TK, suspension version, in close to mint condition, with an outstanding, lustrous paint finish and bright clean transfers on both sides and at the rear.
Such an eye-catching truck on display.
Both wing mirrors are in place complete with ‘mirror’ pieces.
Hard to find a mark to the paint finish, although under closest scrutiny, a few subtle touch-ins maybe found.
The later end flap style box, is complete, if looking rather worn now. Some edge ruffling/rubbing and creases. Couple of little tears (difficult to get these comparatively flimsy boxes in good condition).
This one comes with the original packing card piece.
