Notes
This collector wanted only the best examples in his collection ? always a discerning buyer of the finest examples he could find. After over 25 years, he has now decided to part with items from his own extensive collection.
This is one of them.
This is a wonderful, unused nostalgic item from the Mattel Company. Rare to come to the market place, this is a spectacular item, and the second example this collector was able to obtain.
Complete with all delicate parts intact (Chitty measures 13cm. approx. in length).
Unused with the raft, spare wheel and windscreen. Still-sealed packet contains the four characters. This packet is still affixed to the sturdy original card packing piece. Remains of the original elastic bands which secured the model in place.
A hard to model to find.
The most attractively illustrated card box is complete and bright – wonderful illustrations are a delight! Tiniest age wear only. Opened at one end only.
