C428
Corgi 428 Smith's Mister Softee Ice Cream Van. Near mint plus/boxed. From The Canadian Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1963-66, this popular ice cream van is in close to mint condition, with complete detailed transfers throughout and spring suspension on all four wheels. Fine original tyres. Ice cream vendor will endlessly serve you with an ice cream cone through the sliding hatch at the front, if you turn the little knob on the baseplate.
Little casting mark on one side of the roof and a few tiny marks/dots to the paint finish. Note the addition of the "Stop Me & Buy One’ label from Corgi 474 Ice Cream Van, at the front bumper.
A nicely nostalgic item presented in a complete, bright box. Minor handling wear only. Silky, barely handled feel. Period pencilled price at an end flap.
