Rare to come to the market place, this is an exciting find!

Complete with slotted card insert, this set comprises:
1) 501 Citroen DS19 ‘Police’. In near mint condition, with a chip at one of the ‘Police’ transfers, and a few smaller marks besides, two small later dabs of white paint at a front wing.

2) 507 Simca 1500 GLS Estate in silver. Very near mint.

3) 508 Daf 33. Near mint plus. Lovely glossy deep red finish . Chip very low down on passenger side

4) 509 Fiat 850 in bright red. Very near mint.

5) 513 Opel Admiral in bright metallic blue. Very near mint, with a little assembly crack in the rear windscreen.

6) 514 Alfa Romeo 1600 in silver. Very near mint.

The striking, card pictorial box with lift off lid is clean and strongly-coloured with no tears as you might expect at seams of lid or base. There is a small storage ‘partial puncture’ and residue from a couple of period price labels. Small area of surface loss. Minor wear besides. Base is a rich, unfaded blue with minimal shelf wear. Remains of old tape which kept the lid closed. Very small area of surface loss on the base underside.

Inside is the original, tear-free slotted card insert, complete with the decorative deep blue "DINKY TOYS’ label.
