B272
Budgie 272 Supercar. Inspired by this T.V. series. Early version. Excellent plus/boxed with packing ring. Rare model from The Cheshire Collection.
Notes
The first we have offered for sale in a long time. Difficult to find in any condition, this is a desirable, early issue model with a red lower , silver upper, complete ‘SUPERCAR’ lettering on both sides, Mike Mercury visible within the clear plastic cockpit roof. Notably, both aerials are in place (although note the definite upward bend to the front one!).
Side wings slide in and out although one wing is able to slide out completely now. Very minor marking to the paint finish and a hairline crack in the plastic cockpit roof.
Complete ‘SUPERCAR’ lettering on the base.
An exciting toy from Budgie issued 1962.
Attractively illustrated card box is complete and bright. Very small end flap tear and minor age wear besides. Complete with the original packing ring.
