Notes
Only the second we have ever handled, this is a very rare pre-war German Marklin KDF model measuring just 5.5 cms long (approx.). Simple, one-piece diecast model with body-line details and a split rear window detail. Unusually free of fatigue which was a common problem with these early diecast models.
In all original condiiton finished in pale green. Few little marks. Note the KDF lettering on the silver number plate area front and rear.
Stamped ‘PICO 9 Germany’ on the roof underside. Issued during 1939-40 only.
Originally sold from a shopkeeper’s trade box of 12.
