D166
Dinky 166 Sunbeam Rapier Saloon. Very near mint/boxed. From a beautiful, single-owner collection, some 25 years in the making.
Notes
This fine Dinky car was made between 1958-63, in two different two-tone colour finishes.
This issue has a fresh original blue and turquoise paint finish.
Day-one lustre!
Shiny baseplate and as-new original tyres.
Stray little (factory) mark in blue paint on the roof and the occasional negligible mark besides.
The ever so crisp, strongly-coloured pictorial box has resistant end flaps (so rarely opened). Correct colour spot. Small stain on one side and a little storage crumple. Period pencilled price at an end flap.
