Dinky 236 Connaught Racing Car. Near mint/scarce plain all yellow box. From The Berlin Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1956-59. Original mid-green finish, complete with driver, bright red interior, black steering wheel and complete racing number 32 transfers throughout.
Shiny base and smooth original tyres run well.
Glossy original paint finish. Note a little stray dot of factory black paint on the bonnet. Couple of small red paint marks too (factory). Occasional tiny mark to the paint finish.
The more unusual style of box is bright, clean and complete. No picture of the model on the crisp, bright box but on the underside, there is some printed information on the real Connaught. Little tear to the tuck-in part of one large end flap and a very small seam tear. Old DM price label (can be removed if wished) on the inside surface of one end flap).
A fine example of a classic Dinky racing model – especially desirable with this more unusual style of box.
