C290
Corgi 290 Kojak Buick. Mint/boxed. DARK BRONZE VERSION. Issue with 'NEW' Tag & polystyrene base with card backdrop. With both figures of Kojak & Crocker. Badge. Stunning example just removed from a factory overwrap. From an impeccable collection in The Netherlands.
Notes
Never having seen the light of day until now, this wonderfully fresh example of the Kojak Buick is finished in bright dark metallic bronze with 12-spoke wheels. Complete with both original figures of Kojak and Crocker, detachable beacon and badge. An exceptional display piece especially with the atmospheric skyscraper card backdrop.
Issue is dated 1976 on the pristine box -so second issue – note that the first issue has Kojak’s Buick printed rather than simply Kojak Buick and has 1975 printed on the box.
This version has both a* polystyrene base as well as the card backdrop*. (A later issue would have a card plinth and card backdrop). ‘NEW’ tag box.
Never having been removed from its box, it will be opened just once (if the new owner wishes!) in order to ensure safe delivery. This is a spectacular shop-fresh example, one of 6 just removed from the factory cellophane overwrap.
