D104
Wooden Prototype of Dinky 104 Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle. Originally owned by Mike Richardson co-author of The Great Book of Dinky'. Exceptionally rare item!
Notes
With a signed Provenance Letter from one of the most respected Dinky specialists, this wooden prototype of Dinky 104 Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle is the actual item pictured on page 290 of ‘The Great Book of Dinky’!
A working prototype with moving aerials, functioning roof button which releases the seated figure of Captain Scarlet and operational missile firing mechanism. Rear half-tracks are able to be raised and lowered. Little wear to one of the tracks. However, we do not recommend moving any of these moving parts.
A piece of Dinky history, a wonderful investment piece and a truly exciting item! This prototype was given to Mike Richardson on a visit to the Dinky factory shortly before its closure in 1979.
