D176
Dinky 176 Austin A105 Saloon. Very near mint/boxed. Scarce version in cream with mid-blue roof and blue flash. From a beautiful, single-owner collection, some 25 years in the making.
Notes
This scarce version has a cream finish with a mid blue roof and flash at the sides, cream hubs. Interestingly, the Austin A105 was the first Dinky car to be made with window glazing!
This example is in close to perfect condition with just a (probably factory) scratch on one side window. Very faint roof rub. Mere dot or two to the lustrous paint finish. Few faint scratches on the shiny baseplate.
Clean white original well-shaped tyres.
The yellow picture box is bright and complete. Correct cream ‘in the print’ colour spot at an end flap. Small fleck of surface loss on the top surface. Small are a of light grubbiness on the top surface. Minor wear besides.
