This is an impressive Chipperfields item issued between 1968-72. It contains a Scammell truck with three plastic cages containing two lions, two tigers and two bears. This example is in all original condition with a bright red and blue paint finish, jewelled headlights and Chipperfields label at cab front. There are a couple of minor marks to the transfer print on one of the cages and a couple of negligible marks to the paint finish. The plastic cages are complete and intact with all animals enclosed, although only the tigers have the plastic ‘bubble’ casing now.
Nice to see this example still has the *black elastic bands which fasten the cages to the trailer (often missing!)

Note that the little self-adhesive pads have largely been used to affix the animals to the base of the cages, although one pad still remains on the sheet, still present.
The large cellophane-fronted box is complete. Original cellophane has a puncture. A little ruffling/handling wear mostly at one large end flap. Remains of a period price label at an end flap.
